About the Music
The artwork was painted to Morcheeba’s ‘The Sea’ off the album ‘Big Calm’, I have painted this music before and it always gives me a great result! The track has an ethereal tranquility to it, Skye Edwards vocals are as creamy and mellow as they always are, and Paul and Ross Godfrey’s musical composition is sublime with a mix that only they can achieve!
About Morcheeba
Formed in 1995, Morcheeba consisted of Paul Godfrey (DJ), Ross Godfrey on guitar and keyboards with Skye Edwards as vocalist fronting the band. Morcheeba have a chilled, funky groove drenched style, with hints of psychedelia and some sublime turntablism woven so well into the fabric of the music, that it just becomes as one with the whole of the sound. Probably classed under the ‘Trip Hop’ umbrella of musical styles, these guys really have their own style of eclectic sonic beauty.
